They're like Jaffa, Necrons, Protoss and Evangelions in one. That works |

That's pretty awesome, except, again -- why the cloak and loincloth?? You dare ask a Shadokesh what he has under his qu'abat, you impudent human?!! |

Design-wise, it's obviously ceremonial. However, sculpting-wise, it helps take up space and solidify two legs into one shape, allowing it to be moulded and cast as one piece more easily. |

Yep, I would definitely would like them more if they didn't have those. Not too keen on staff weapons either but that should be more easily manageable. DF Eisenkerns are technically superb so I might have to seriously consider these anyway. |

Amicalement Armand: Thanks for posting! The cloth aspects are ceremonial. From a visual standpoint it also adds movement and helps ground the figure. Happy to see you guys enjoying them. I am tweaking the models now adding a bit more detail to a few spots and a bit of work to the cloth details. I should have these off to WGF to start the draft and cuts next week. Cheers! If the cloth is ceremonial, does that we can expect to see Shadokesh troops not dressed in "dress uniform" as well? |

tnjrp, Its not like dress blues, this is what they ware as combat gear. It is ceremonial in the sense of social station. But yes, there will be Shadokesh without any uniform. I would go into this but the explanation is rather long winded and likely better addressed in a fluff piece. |
