With the release of rather nice looking Russians by Eureka, I am looking for a T55 to suit 28mm figures. Any suggestions in plastic or die-cast? Alan |

Try the Jungle Rot (Vietnam) line from RLBPS. link About 2/3 of the way down the page. They have a T55 as well as the PT76 in 1/56 scale. I have three of the PT76s and the do look quite good. Vince |

Here's one in 1/43 from China that's under $20 USD including S&H overseas: auction It's preassembled so only needs a new paint job for Afghanistan. 1/43 is not too big if you mount the Eureka figures on slotta-bases since the minis are likely already 32mm tall without the bases. And you'll probably be paying a lot more for a less detailed model even from a local distributor on your side of the pond. |

There are some Plastic T55's on Ebay from a Chinese trader. They are about 1/50th scale and very cheap so I bought three of them. I don't have a link for them as it was ages ago. |

Force of Arms do a resin one in 1/56 but unfortunately they aren't available right now, although that situation should change. |

There are some Plastic T55's on Ebay from a Chinese trader. They are about 1/50th scale and very cheap so I bought three of them. This one?: auction It looks like the same one I linked to earlier listed as 1/43. Based on the dimensions it's about 2.5" width by 5" length. |

Those Chinese T55 on Ebay are very useful Tanks – they look good and can be easily repainted. Concerning the PT76 from Jungle Rot – they are closer to 1:50 scale. But they paint up very well – I have 2 of them. |

Thanks for all the help. I have ordered one of the 1/43 tanks and hope it doesn't look too big. However, model tanks should always look bigger than they actually are: right? |

The Chinese tanks are listed as 1:43 but are closer to 1:50 believe it or not….you'll be fine. |

Thanks again: I was beginning to have reservations about ordering it. |
