Hello, I am here running this poll for Hegemony Miniatures, to see how are the feelings of the figure collectors for what they would like to see to be created in the new set. Whatever option is higher when adding up the poll on several forums and on the official site, will be made. It will also be made at the same time another set, that might be or might not be on this list. These would be to be made in 1/72 (what it turns out to be 25 mm I think) If you would rather see something which is not in the list, then tell about it, and if other people supports it it will be done! As there is many options, please post your 4 favourites. Here a small explanation; Egyptian Warship – A medium sized warship to fit a big gap in model kits since Atlantic, with crew. Armenians – The Armenians that King Tigranes led against the Romans, in his battle with 200,000 troops that were defeated by 30,000 Romans (according to Roman historians). Palmyrans – With Queen Zenobia as the "leader" of the set. Etruscans – With Hat apparently not releasing their set, and nobody having it done before, it would be very similar to the unreleased set Hat tried to make. Ligurians; to fight the Romans on their early history. Longobards – A Longobard set to fight Ostrogoths and Byzantines. Napoleonic French Sailors – for the Napoleonic campaigns, much as the Hat set of British sailors. Napoleonic Ottomans – Regular troops, without Janissaries. Greek Infantry WW1 – Regular infantry + Evzones. Seated WW2 British figures – To be fitted on top of tanks, driving vehicles, repairing vehicles, to be fitted in dioramas. WW2 British Sailors – To be fitted on the Airfix and other manufacturers kits, to give more variety and to depict different uniforms. Female WW2 Russian Soldiers – regular soldiers, pilots, snipers, etc, in all roles that women took part in WW2. WW2 Civilians – basic civilians to be used in nearly all scenarios, basic western look. Dutch East Indies WW2 army – with their bush hats as they fought in ww2. Iraqi Army (first Gulf War) – for the Desert Storm Operation. Modern Egyptian Army – for the recent trouble in the country and the possible future fightings and interventions it will be involved. Modern Chinese Army – Contemporary troops, to recreate fictional wargamings in which China tries to take over the world! Modern Indian Army vs Modern Pakistani Army – Joint set to represent the Kashmir clashes. Modern Radical Protesters – the ones you could find in practically all European countries, throwing molotov cocktails, setting fire to rubbish bins, armed with baseball bats, throwing bricks, and with the occasional weapon. |

Are these going to be in plastic? |
Frothers Did It And Ran Away | 20 Feb 2015 3:33 a.m. PST |
From that list Female Soviets or WW2 civilians. Medieval civilians would be my real preference. |
Likui006 | 20 Feb 2015 3:43 a.m. PST |
Early ming chinese and song chinese ! |
Frederick | 20 Feb 2015 4:43 a.m. PST |
I am with Frothers – for 1/72 WW2 Civilians and Female Soviets |
Dschebe | 20 Feb 2015 4:49 a.m. PST |
Armenians, Etruscans, Ligurians and Longobards, from this list. |
cloudcaptain | 20 Feb 2015 5:23 a.m. PST |
India and Pakistan get my vote. Plastic modern PLA are a close second…to mix with Caesar minis. We could really use some scifi though. |
Grelber | 20 Feb 2015 5:50 a.m. PST |
I'd vote for WWI Greek infantry: the Salonika Front had contingents from all sorts of different nations and these could probably be used for the Balkan Wars and the post WWI intervention in Russia and the Greco-Turkish fighting in Anatolia as well. Grelber |
Winston Smith | 20 Feb 2015 6:12 a.m. PST |
I will ignore your list and ask for Washington Crossing the Delaware. |
Wildman | 20 Feb 2015 7:20 a.m. PST |
WWII British Sailors and WWII Civilians. |
Yesthatphil | 20 Feb 2015 7:20 a.m. PST |
If 1:72 then the Egyptian warship is a 'shoe in' for me .. Phil |
Weddier | 20 Feb 2015 9:10 a.m. PST |
Armenians, Palmyrans and Longobards for my own preferences. I can see how India and Pakistan might be popular for modern gamers, but either of those latter two could wind up in conflict with the PLA, so a 'South Asia Theater' collection might be a good manufacturing choice, including the modern protesters. All three 'South Asian' armies have been involved in urban riot suppression. |

Green Tiger, yes, they will be in hard plastic. Winston Smith, I am afraid we have too many War of Independence Americans and too many Washington's in 1/72 out there :) . |

I really, really wish GOOD plastic pulp figures: - civilians (doubling as civilians in WW2) - gansters and mobsters, US/Europe. - Tong/Asiatic/Yakuza gangsters - US policemen - civilian/nazi zombies - hooded cultists, also sacrificing - and … pulp heroes sets (can be overpriced) : brave adventurers/anthropologist/archeologist, elder professor, their loyal native friend, The Great White Hunter Jumanji style (cork helmet and elephant rifle), evil aristocrat (top hat&tails, tuxedo/white tie), detective, reporter with flash camera, damsel in distress (chained to chair), damsel before sacrifice, shaman/witchdoctor during sacrifice, masked Shadowlike avenger with rapier and revolver, crazy scientist. Extra point for extra heads in top hats, fedoras, fez, turban, African mask and cork helmet to let some conversion. Maybe even robot servants, trained chimpanzee, Frankenstein's monster, Predator etc. (There is enough ghosts, Yetis/Saskwatch, vampires and gorrillas already). |

I would definitely buy the Iraqi Army, the Modern Radical Protestors, and the Indian/Pakistani sets. Good luck whatever you decide on, though. |
Mute Bystander | 20 Feb 2015 3:33 p.m. PST |
Dutch East Indies WW2 army – with their bush hats as they fought in ww2. Except I don't buy figures larger than 18mm anymore. Great list though! |

Weird War II and pulp Rocketeers 1950's/'60's Cold War infantry, pilots Rioters, refugees, panicked crowds CNN news team/field Journalists that are actually 'there'. USO Show. figures for a guntruck convoy |
Xantippos | 21 Feb 2015 9:17 a.m. PST |
Nevals, there is already somethings similar made by Strelets (quite chunky, I know) and a bit by Italeri. Although I agree it could be better done. Umpapa, RedBox already does the Gangsters and the US Policemen . The pulp heroes set idea is interesting. If there is more support we'll consider it. MuteBystander, thanks, at the start one thinks everything has been done, but once you start brainstorming and collecting ideas, choosing one seems impossible! skippy, what do you refer by Rocketeers? the journalist set is really a great idea. |
Umpapa | 21 Feb 2015 10:32 a.m. PST |
Umpapa, RedBox already does the Gangsters and the US Policemen. Have You seen those sets in real? They are rather unacceptable… at least to me…. Another vote for refugees and panicked crowds, Weird Wars (german Nazi/Soviet Zombie!). Even if Elhiem is producing 4 pose of brilliant Rocketeers (actually I am painting them now), I would buy more plastic ones. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocketeer PDF link Here they are excellent pulp figures in 28 mm (wish any of them in 20 mm): pulpfigures.com/products |
Shadowcat20 | 21 Feb 2015 2:59 p.m. PST |
Female Soviets, WWII Civies, Mid civies, WWII Wacs, Waves, Wrens, and other female branches. More Home Guard brits other than Dads Army. |
Xantippos | 22 Feb 2015 11:39 p.m. PST |
Umpapa, I have one of them, yes they are rather of bad quality, but if you are lucky and you get a good set (they vary), and you are crafty with the cutter they are not so bad. At least many people thought so as I have seen quite a lot painted. I knew the character, but I was thinking it was a one-off superhero. |

A lot depends on the era being played as well as the scale. 28mm Muskogee Creeks fgor the Creek War of 1812. The Upper Creek could be used to fight the Chickasaw and Choctaw before the war. 28mm Chickasaw and Choctaw for use in the 1700s Chickasaw-french Wars. 28mm WW2 Chinese, all factions 28mm Central and South American tribes for use with SAGA. 15mm and 28mm early War tanks for the Japanese, Chinese, USSR and Finns, Spain |
Xantippos | 27 Feb 2015 9:32 a.m. PST |
Thanks for your suggestions. Caesar already makes a set of WW2 Chinese Army, although maybe it could the subject could be better done and separated into nationalist and communist forces. |

After a long time, I can announce that the WW2 Civilians have won the polls and they will be the next set released. Meanwhile, we have released the Long Range Desert Group set. Soon the WW2 Civilians will be released along a new surprise set. Many thanks for your votes :) . |
