Oh, that puts my plans to paint my Strelets up the Swanee – they are really nice. He does good stuff. |

and a round valise/portmanteau as well…………….nice touch to get that "right". Few bother and just sit them on generic French heavy cavalry horses….. |

Please don't take this the wrong way, as I don't have any of my books handy. When did the early Carabiniers change to the sheepskin saddle cloth? My AB figures have the older 2 tier holster covers. |

In the Napoleonic Wars they had sheepskin saddle cloth already, at least Rousselot shows them already in 1805 with that |

Or as us fans say, !/72 is the best |

Yeah, I know…they do say that size does not matter. Funny thing though, those (they) that shout that loudest seem to have the smallest shoe size. My chat up line was always that I was a 28mm man myself…..funny how that never worked in the early 70s. Must be the way I said it……. |

Excellent! Nice figures, well animated and beautifully painted. Thanks, Paul |

Well DH, it beats my "I like my soldiers bendy"… But us 1/72 guys do have some extremely talented people sculpting kit for us. I love what Francesco is doing, and am waiting (patiently?) for his French horse artillery sets. I must check who is making his artillery pieces – I recall it was a joint venture (with Westfalia?). |

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have no idea why, but once you get to 1/72 or 18/15mm the figures get far better proportioned than is often the case in 28mm. Head sizes reduce, legs get longer, they look more like humans than Hobbits. Too late for me though. Strong with me is the Dark Side now, too late for me, to change, it is to………… |

try some 18 mm AB or Sho Boki, I have strong trust in you young Deadheadwalker, the force is with you, I can feel it. |
