We played a 6mm WWII game last Sunday at Giga Bites Cafe in Marietta GA that is based on the engagement between The Welsh Guards and the recently arrived StuG IIIs of schwere Heers Panzerjaeger-Abeteilung3/559 between Beringen and Helchteren, Belguim, Sept 7 1944.

Mark…I love your games and have your Flicker site bookmarked. Your terrain and minis are an inspiration. Thanks for posting. Ya gotta love 6mm! Ben

Great AAR and beautiful-looking game. I always love your table which looks sooo big and uncrowded in 6mm, with distances seeming almost normal. This scale really tempts me!

Thanks. The scale for IABSM is really 1/300 so it does look great in 6mm. Biggest problem is convincing players not to bunch up, especially vehicles.

Yes, this is why I love 6mm – virtually empty landscapes, which is how participants in WW2 often described the battlefield. Much better than tanks fencing with their gun barrels.

Really great looking game, 6mm the only way for WWII games no track to track actions.
