Has anyone been to this Con and what do they think? Is it just Sci-Fi or other games and are there vendors and if so what kind. |

For those of us who were wondering what in the world he's talking about :) link |

Wait… the east coast of the US? Here I was expecting something in Norfolk, Suffolk or some place like that (IIRC, GZG is based near those parts, which made me draw that connection.) |

I've always wanted to go but it's a serious haul for me. |

I still have hopes of going some year. The problem would be bringing my GZG goodies across the country….. |

I'd love to go but it's too close to Cold Wars. Give me a big con any day! |

Have not been there since they moved out of Lancaster, but well worth your time. |

Thanks for the link, VonTed. Looks interesting. Not far from Cornell, so they should be able to grow their event by reaching out to the college crowd. If you are local to the area, GZG at the end of March also makes for a good combination with Council of Five Nations in October which is held outside Albany. However, if they want to grow, they need to expand their game offerings. We'll see. |

Just checked out some of the pictures from their past conventions on their web page. They have had some great looking games. Very impressive. If you are a fan of Moderns, SciFi, Star Wars, Star Trek or BSG, this looks like a convention you would enjoy. They also have a few historical games mixed in with the SciFi. I'm seriously thinking about adding this event to my schedule. |
