As part of our WFB campaign we played a Triumph and Treachery game:

Nice report. I'm still not totally clear on what T&T is, but it seems to be a nice departure from standard WHFB scenarios.

Thanks.
T&T is basically a supplement for multi-player games.
In essence you declare an "enemy" in each phase (Move, Magic, Shoot, Fight) and can only do things to them but you can change enemy from phase to phase, so shoot one player then fight close combat with another.
There's also different victory conditions, some scenarios and a deck of cards that allow you to influence the game (for instance General Ballroom played a card that forced me to declare the Bretonnians as my enemy for the shooting phase when I really needed to shoot his Elves!).
Its good fun, not really for the tournament type player I suspect and it does make for very long games (we only got through four turns in three hours).
Ideal for an all day big game with chums and plenty of snacks.

Agreed; I've enjoyed all the games of T&T I've played.

I'd not heard of this – explanation here:

It seems to cost £50.00 GBP in the UK from GW – for a 96 page hardback!

It's not just the hardback, alphus – it comes in a box with a deck of cards and a bag of tokens, both of which are intrinsic to the game. No it's not cheap but I feel like I've had my money's worth out of it for sure.
