Trenton Scenario "I think the Germans are awake" "A Work in Progress" I am running this scenario at Cold Wars 2015. I present it here being played out as a two player game with reduced forces. So far I have the basic setup for both sides up on my site. I will be adding 1 to 2 turns everyday. I hope you will check back often. If you like what you see check out the downloads page and get the designer notes, first chapter and Game Turn examples. The BatRep is at this link. link

So the scenario starts at the jager picket posts outside of Trenton, if I read it correctly? Then do you use a sort of "rolling terrain" concept as the Americans move closer to town? An interesting idea, looking forward to seeing more as your game develops. |

Yes that is the scenario. The terrain is fictitious and the scenario is a bit of Hollywood but had I read that a small militia force attacked the outpost and were driven off. They later ran into Washington who was quite worried the Germans would be up so to speak. He did send a force forward to look and see. This is that force mind you it is made up. I have completed the first turn for both sides. The Americans have advanced almost to musket range and have sent their one company of rifles off to the left flank. Please more comments, they help keep me motivated. I will say my downloads of the designer notes, and first chapter are growing which is a good sign and some orders have come in already :) Chris Parker |

Alte, I read you comments again and this is only about the outposts. Light Bobs is for forces around 200 to 300 men not for larger battles such as Trenton. If you have read Johann Ewald you know the type of game I am depicting. Chris Parker |

German jagers score first blood. Turn 2 is done and posted, the Mericans are slowly advancing and have attempted to out flank the Germans. |
