Just finished up a unit of Virginia Militia. All except the command stand, which will require flags. I'll get to that when I'm in my flag making mood. Right now, I'm knocking out bases like crazy. These are Kings Mountain figures (huge surprise, there!!!). They represent the Viriginia Militia that was at Cowpens and in later battles in the War in the South. My Viriginians are blessed with a high number of Ex-Continentals who have decided to return to the fight. The figures are a mix of Continentals and Over Mountain Men and I think that they blend well together. Overall, I'm very pleased with the way the everything turned out. Finally!! I actually managed to take a pretty good set of photos. Way better than my ususal fuzzy looking efforts. I was able to get a good shot of the whole line and then some very clear pix of individual stands. Best picture that I have ever taken. I guess that TMP has a mind if it's own today. While in the middle of posting, the message just decided to shut down. I have no idea what's going on, but here are the rest of the pix. [URL=http://s222.photobucket.com/user/nevinsrip/media/VA%20MILITIA%206_zpskoavned1.jpg.html]

I especially like the wounded / falling backwards figure. Very useful when mounted individually to represent disordered units. Impeccable base work! |

Yes, they are well-painted figures and fantastic terrain effects on the bases. Jim |

Thanks, Hal. Always great to hear from you. How many years has it been since MWAN brought us together? |
