Here's a link to the first 13 of 16 battle reports for Nordic Weasel's "5Core Company Command," where I've been playing Germans vs. Polish, September 1939.

The rules are roughly a company per side, one stand is a squad, one vehicle is one vehicle, each game has been about an hour. I'd place them between One-Hour Wargames and Fireball Forward (I own both). I also have Nuts!, but it's a totally different game.

Hex based (Kallistra) but designed as both fast play and for a compact playing space (2 x 3).

Not sure if I would rate it as a GOOD batrep but here is a writeup on a game of FIreball Forward my son and I played a while back.
