When you see a website with no, insufficient (your call,) or tiny pictures that can't be enlarged do yo:

1) Vow never to buy them and actually keep that vow no matter what?

2) Make the Vow but relent when your "shiny" button gets pushed?

3) Make the Vow but yield when you see them in the metal/plastic after someone else has bought some?

4) Say,"I know this company's work and I trust past performance ensures future results!"

5) Say, "WTF is this picture hang-up? Real gamers buy a pig in a poke and make do!"

6) Bitch/grumble/complain but make your real decision on the basis of friends' recommendations or other factors not mentioned above.

7) Scour the internet until you find pictures then decide?

8) Other (comment/explain)

9) No opinion

I roll the dice and hope I made a good purchase. Hence I tend to buy plastic, since expectations are already low and almost every purchase leads to pleasant surprises.

eBay is your friend. Sellers, there, are motivated.
When you find a good picture keep a copy.

8, with a certain amount of 7 thrown in. I have figures on order from OG 15s just now. No photo, inquiries here on TMP turned up nothing, Google turned up nothing. So, I made the minimum order, and I guess we will see. They have some other things that have possibilities, and if this works out, maybe I'll order again.

8 I spend a lot of time at shows getting the feel of manufacturers products so that I have a good idea what their quality is even before looking at the Internet.

#4 may apply at times, but otherwise it's #7. I always attempt to do a TMP/Google search and see if I can locate some photos. May God bless those who have taken the time to share photos!

8) I skip buying them. Unless I have seen them pictured somewhere else and went to the store after that. Or if I seem them later on somewhere, which is likely as I lurk around poking about the edges of things I like, which are also things I like to buy.

Most of the time I'll poke around and see if there's a forum or site somewhere with pictures of what they look like.

I've bought unseen if there's a big sale but I tend not to.

8, if they are the only game in town, I'll wait until I see a customers painted pics on line.

If they aren't the only game in town, and most aren't, I'll buy from someone with pictures on their site. I've chosen to go with entirely different scales because a manufacturer didn't have pics available.

10. I look at them on the net and then buy them at a show if a vendor turns up with them.
