Beautiful painting. For Neapolitans, why not put one of their standards on a French battalion and repaint the plastrons? |

interesting showing them in the medium blue coats. I was under the impression that by the 1812 campaign, they had migrated to the standard short tailed white coat with orange distinctives? I am looking to have the 1812 Neapolitan contingent painted soon as well. |

Hi rmacaras you are quite right the change occurred mid way through 1811, but I wanted to paint the figures in the mid blue uniform and I will be painting them in the Russian Campaign uniform as well shortly. Might have to rework my introduction on that page of my Blog. |

As we'd expect from you, inspirational. Did you not think of painting them as seen in 1813, after their return from Russia? Might have saved you much work……thinner on the ground after all! |
