Anyone know where these can be found? The Ebay store they had seems to be lacking…They were kinda ugly but had a sex appeal all their own… |

He's been selling of the lines, molds and all. If you don't see the line you want, those might be gone already.. . |

link has many of the old Metal Magic series that Megaminis bought and later sold off. You may find some old Megas under the Center Stage Miniatures store, do not shop here. The owner is in bankruptcy for 3 unfinished kickstarters and has proved terribly unreliable and maybe criminally negligent. |

Johnny is still around. According to his blog post (here: link ) he couldn't devote as much time to Mega Miniatures so decided to sell it off. In recent years, I have not been able to devote my full attention to Mega Miniatures as I once did. Johnny is still doing small projects that interest him, including the "Road Kill" and "Salvage Crew" Kickstarters--which were both funded and filled successfully. Johnny has a series of blog posts on running Kickstarter campaigns that is worth reading--see them here: johnnyborgcastings.blogspot.com |

Kinda surprised to hear that about Johnny Lauck. Back when Mega Minis was still in operation, he was always a good guy with whom to deal.I'm guessing he got into financial trouble from what you've said, started the KS to help bail himself out and got in over his head. JJ I think Johnny isn't Center Stage Miniatures. |

Center Stage is one of the companies Johnny sold molds to (see his blog post for the list of companies that purchased molds). |

Thanks for the heads up folks. I didn't realize Johnny was doing another KS already. I pledged for the Salvage crew KS and was really happy with what I got and the incredibly low price ($30 for 29 figs) I paid. I'm looking forward to his next Sci-Fi KS. In case folks didn't know, the figs from the KS (though not the robots) are available here: johnnyborgcastings.com |

I'm really sorry I didnt spell it out properly. Johnny has a spotless record. I was referring to a company that bought a pretty good sized batch of Johnnys molds-Center Stage Miniatures, they are the company of Matt ????, who ran three-4 kickstarters. He has unsuccessfully fulfilled 3 kickstarters. Aside from buying the molds he has nothing to do with Johnny or mega minis. He may stil be selling products that were intended as kickstarter rewards. If his store is still open you may or may not get anything you order but under the situation he should not be selling anything right now. That is just my opinion. The final word would be with the courts. Once again, Johnny has a spotless record, maybe the best in the business and has nothing to do with this dirty business. |
