Actually, one picture of three pieces of art. On these to forums, I was called out about an offhand comment I made that "Traveller was always a fun read for me, but I always loved the ships the most. I even bought some of the original artwork from Marc." TMP link In spite of the comment "Pics or it didn't happen!" being bogus, piccies being so easily faked, I offer the evidence requested below. ;->= link Anyone else participate in Marc Miller's housecleaning? Very nice. Looking forward to seeing the rest. Yes, these are from Supplement 9, Fighting Ships. Which Ad Astra minis weren't you happy with? The ones in the preview pic? |

Which Ad Astra minis weren't you happy with? The ones in the preview pic? Sorry, have been meaning to break out the old blisters, but my ability to find things these days… What I meant was I was fairly sure these weren't the first Trav ships from Ad Astra, though I can't find others on the site. Serve me right if I were holding a grudge against the wrong producer, though the term 'disappointed' is hardly the harshest thought I've voiced. ;->= Anyway, still diggin'… Doug |

There were the adventurer-level ships (scout, free trader, etc.), which were actually produced by another company (Mega Minis?) and then the remaining stock was bought up by Ad Astra Games. Are those the ones? |

Sounds likely, and another look merely had me saying 'disappointed' isn't that bad, is it. ;->= I actually like them better than the Honorverse I have, but that's a bit apples-to-oranges. I'd take an SDB everyone has been clamoring for, though I think my converted would do well with the new line. Did you want to see more of the Traveller haul? I actually got a fairly nice response on LAF. I won't bring up the stuff from AD&D Ravenloft… Doug |
