I can`t figure out how to post pics on TMP so you are doing fine Russ! Another fine batch of figures I guess 6 Dixon figs to a base they feel fairly heavy. I seen some very clever stuff on blogspots is it easy to set up? |

Thanks for all the feedback guys Cavcrazy, Disco Joe, and herkybird, thanks guys Tigers have being on my list for way to long! I first started painting them in brown jackets, don't worry I saw sense, stripped them and started again. Frederick, the straw boater had to be included, how could I not throw a few in for good measure. Thanks Painter jim, they do seem to have turned out pretty well, I supprise myself sometimes and I think this is one of those times, Hammerhead, six figures per base does add abit of weight but that's part of the draw of metal! and me being lazy means I font have to move as many bases about. Has for posting photos Photobucket was my starting point. Once I installed Photobucket on my phone it kind of all fell into place. I made a few mistakes along the way but how else we learn. As for the blog well it was easier than I thought, check out my post in starting up a blog. I need a blog (free if possible) I went with blogger, you really don't need to do alot. I am a aging technophobe I'm afraid so if I can do it anyone can, as for help and advice our fellow TMPers have come through time and time again. So thanks again for the feedback and support Cheers for now Russ |

Thanks tigrifsgt, glad you approve! Here's a close up of the command group, I took your advice on the stripes near the cuff. It certainly seems to have paid off
Thanks again for the advice and kind words, I'm glad they have done your boys proud. Cheers for now Russ |

Did you paint those stripes on or use a tech pen? Either way they are outstanding. Excellent job!! |

Thanks guys GoodOldRebel, you've got to love Dixons for detail and character. They virtually paint themselves, either that or I've painted that many that its second nature to me. Tiger73 thank you also, they turned out pretty good even if I say so myself. ACWBill, the stripes almost drove me nuts, but it was worth it. I cant say I would be in a hurry to paint another unit in a hurry. nevinsrip, all with a brush, I've got a brush that's about 4 years old with about 6 hairs left on it, it's great for fine detail work, I will be gutted when I have to retire it. Once again thanks TIG your advice helped to make them all that they are. so guys again everyone, the comments have made all the hours I spent painting the stripes worthwhile! Cheers for now Russ |
