It's taken me a little while, but I've put my younger son's write up of his solo campaign of the AWI (so far) on our web site. Essentially, there are several battle reports, condensed. I can't attest to the historical accuracy, but he had a lot of fun and learnt a lot about the real history along the way! Please have a look, at:

Outstanding! Love the AAR's accompanied by photos. Looks like it was a fun campaign to play. That's something I hope to try someday. I hope your son puts together more AAR's like this. They're one of my favorite things to read on TMP.

Really stunning. I love the old fashioned look--I actually prefer this to many of the more realistic approaches taken today. Sounds like your son had fun! Thank you for sharing.

Charming;this is how I started out.

I wanna play! Remember when it was more fun than serious?

Ah, great fun! Brings back memories of my early wargaming days as a child, playing with the old Marx plastic Alamo and Civil War sets, now more than fifty years ago. Thanks for the great reports and pics!
