During the talks, Castro and Shoigu reviewed "the historical ties linking the two nations and ratified the willingness to continue strengthening the collaboration bonds," according to a press release issued by the Cuban government. Besides the Russian delegation led by Shoigu, the talks were also attended by Cuban Defense Minister Leopoldo Cintra Frias and senior officers of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces…"

Sales usually entail someone handing over a bit of cash for at least one side of the transaction. Not sure the Castro bro's have been able to bottle, and sell, tired old commie rhetoric, though when/if they do, they'll be rich. I guess they can always give the Russians aircraft and naval vessel basing rights again. |
