The original scenario, with the sweeping road reminds me of the scenario in Wargames (I think) called the St James road. It featured a sweeping road and a wooded hill. 1 Battalion of infantry and some shermans (a company by scale) and a couple of anti-tank guns vs 2 battalions of panzer grenadiers and a 2 companies of tanks.

I marvel at your terrain boards every time I see them. You guys on the other side of the pond have all the best toys!

The nostalgic trees are a hoot!

That wide open, huge table from the original scenario cracks me up! If it makes you feel better, that's about my level of sophistication ;)

This does bring out the point perfectly that we are definitely in a golden age of gaming; all kinds of stuff in all kinds of scales is almost immediately available to each of us.
