A new 28mm Tchanka from Warlord. No RCW crew as yet, but one suspects a bit of conversion might do the trick. TMP link |

It's quite poor as a replica of an RCW-era tchanka. (Unsurprisingly, because it is good for the actual period it is made for.) Eureka and Scheltrum make much better ones for RCW. |

Is there a difference in the carriage for the RCW? |

Yes. Cuprum posted some pictures at the Lead Adventure Forum. The RCW ones were personal carriages "converted" only very roughly. They had a decent width riding board, so that you could get step up from the side in a long skirt. They had a seat in the back to sit on. They had smaller front wheels than back wheels. They weren't particularly sturdy, being intended for road use only. The later Soviet one is a sturdy box wagon with mudguards. |

Eureka and Scheltrum make much better ones for RCW. Scheltrum? Can you provide a link? I can't find one on their website. |

link Apparently it isn't on the website, so you have to phone/e-mail. |

Thanks, Mark. Is there a password or a secret handshake involved as well? |
