I have way too much Saga to pick this up… but damn it's tempting!

Can anyone who played Saga and this version comment on the differences?

Totally different , FFG have this dice system where you build a pool of situational dice , luck and from what I gather boons and drawbacks, I dont understand it , but as I have every core Star Wars RPG book from 1st ed d6 , I will grab a copy.

I was not very interested about the "dice" thing – but then I picked up X-wing and have to say that having custom dice was very cool as it did away with what could have been a number of tables/charts.
