Looking into gaming some WWII Marine island assaults. Does anyone make the landing craft in 10mm? How about 6mm. Any rules that would allow for a large amphibious assault? |

Landing craft in 6mm – I know GHQ does them, but I also believe CinC, Scotia and … I think there's another company doing them as well. |

It depends upon how large an amphibious assault you are planning to do. ODGW's Mein Panzer 2 would work well for a battalion-sized assault or a couple of battalions if you have several players on the Marine side. |

GFI/Minifigs did one in N scale (12mm). I believe Minifigs UK/Caliver has the master for it if not in production. Tom Dye |

Scotia have the best range in their Ship to Shore series of landing craft. link The larger craft are resin with metal parts. |

In 10 mm, Pendraken does everything you need for Japanese and US Marines, plus landing craft. Pegasus does an LCM. For rules, use either BKC or Battlefront. |

Command Decision has amphibious rules. Never played a amphibious CD scenario though. The Blitzkrieg-Commander rules have an amphibious assault scenario; the attacker starts at the beach start line. I'm thinking losses at sea are already accounted for in the initial US forces on the beach. I have played in a homegrown rules Tarawa game. This was a 15mm game. |

I got half a dozen 1/144 scale pre-painted landing craft off eBay a few years ago for cheap. You might check there. |

I like the GHQ landing craft esp the alligators which are depicted in the water and full of troops as well as on land. |
