Can anyone tell me which win strongpoints where located on or near Juno Beach? From what I gather it looks like WIN 27 thru 29 or 30? Secondly does anyone have or know of a Micro armor 6mm building that would closely resemble the Canada House? fullmetal |

Just looked at the map in Battle Zone Normandy Juno Beach, in there they list WN26 through to WN31. Try here for 6mm buildings from Normandy link Hope this has been some help. |

Fullmetal, I did Juno Beach WIN28 for my game in 20mm. I have extensive info on what was on that beach if you want some info. |

Georges Bernage's book 'Gold Juno Sword' lists Wn27 to Wn31 as being Juno Beach. Ken Ford's Osprey book 'D-Day 1944 (4)' lists 26 to 31. Take your pick! |

Thanks all for the info, I have the Book Gold, Juno Sword great book to bad most of it is in French. I also have the osprey book. Terry I would enjoy the info you have, I'm doing my in 6mm scale, my board is 6' by 8'. I will get pics up soon. Trying to find good sources for bunkers an WIN. I found a good source from you all for The buildings along the beach itself. Terry do you have a aerial photo of the village, so I can figure out how to do my road an village layout. Fullmetal |

Looking forward to what you come up with Fullmetal – Juno is one of my eventual projects in 6mm too, which is why I have that Leven link handy, already have the buildings for it. |

I have a large print of an aerial photo of Juno beach, taken on the morning of D-Day. I picked it up in the Canadian museum at Courseulles. It is roughly A1 size, or 60x80 cm. If you're interested, I'll look if there is a Web site in the small print. Courseulles town covers about an A4 area, but would be difficult to scan without creasing. |

That would be great Nitpickergeneral, would be great to have a aerial picture of the beach. Boy wundyr I will post some pics soon, I went to that site an emailed him but he has not replyed back about pricing? did it take long for you to get a reply. As of now I have the beach an ocean hexes done. I went 5 hexes wide an 5 deep, for the ocean an beach itself. Not for sure how big or deep I plan on inland. I know im a perfectionist so who knows LOL. I plan to make a frame to hold the whole thing together when I use it for cons an games with my local group. Big picture I wish to do one beach or landing a year, till I get them all done, that I think would be a great convention to have all 5 beach heads an put one big game, of course with some help. I plan on using Jagdpanzer II ruleset. My other projects also are time consuming. Doing the Battle of Britain CY6. Lots of planes to paint. AN working on a ww2 pacific fleet campaign, using 1/2400 scale ships. fullmetal |
