This vignette features Old Foundry and Sash & Saber figures with one or two Redoubt figs. The flag is a GMB first pattern Johnston battle flag. It could represent Confederate regiment during the spring and summer of 1864 on the long road back to Atlanta.

Wonderful paint jobs on the figures. I really like the officer on foot.

Excellent work!

Inspirational work! I used some of the figures in frock coats for a regiment of my Stonewall Brigade…although, yours look a lot better. I love the hat-less, balding figure on the front line.

Have to say my two favourites are the two officers ….full of character!!

GoodOldRebel11 Feb 2015 5:06 p.m. PST

Is the mounted officer a redoubt casting by any chance?

ACWBill12 Feb 2015 8:19 a.m. PST

I believe so Reb.

GoodOldRebel12 Feb 2015 10:38 a.m. PST

I shall track him down and purchase him …he looks just the gallant fellow I'm looking for to lead 'ma boys' to many a gallant defeat!

GoodOldRebel12 Feb 2015 4:01 p.m. PST

I believe I have identified him …the 'General Gordon' figure from sash&saber?

ACWBill13 Feb 2015 7:11 a.m. PST

I have so many figures, I cannot remember which I have. But I do remember buying that figure, so you may be right on Reb. I do have the personalities from Redoubt as well, which was the cause of my confusion. Apologies.

none necessary …you can never have too many beautiful sculpts in your collection!

GoR,

No, I am 90% sure that is General Gordon from Sash And Saber:
