Hi,

Interested by this topic, but OG site doesn't appear to have pics (please, please correct me if I'm wrong).

Anyone have any pics or thoughts on the quality of the minis.

Many thanks,

Nick

I am building, very slowly, a Moldavian army. Most figures are OG and they are excellent. If you can get me your email I can send you some photos.

I bought some of their Hussite figures, not as good as Kingmaker but good for Old Glory

Historically, the general TMP consensus has been that this is one of OG's best ranges. If you want to see some impressive colour images they feature heavily in the WAB supplement 'Vlad the Impaler'.

Yes, if you're even just dabbling in this period you must pick up the WAB Vlad supplement. The figures are very nice!

Even if Old Glory had photos, they'd be more of the same-- too small, too indistinct, and fairly worthless. Someday they'll take the effort to break out a phone and redo the pix so we can actually see something. Or maybe just just remain in the dark ages…

I think the OG line is pretty good. Remember if there are no picts on the "Old Glory 25" site, they will be on the "Old Glory miniatures" site. Still not sure why there are two sites! Add in the army card discount and you can not go wrong. If you want Vlad on foot, The Assault Group did one in the characters collection ( along with Mrs. Vlad and a guard. )

Axabrax, have you ever clicked on the thumbnail-photos on the Old Glory site? They expand to decent detail photos.

Thanks all, has certainly sparked the interest, so now just need to refine 4 possible projects of which this is one option to 2 or 3 – one must go.

Cheers

The new OG UK site has more pics. I have almost the whole range, fleshed out here and there with Foundry strays and TAG. I can't get my head round Kingmaker – ginormous horses, stilted figures with pokers occupying their fundaments IMHO.
