Those look really great!

Thanks for sharing your pics.

I like you labeling system too. Makes them easier to identify.

Don't sweat the T-72 issue, since lots of Warsaw Pact units had those, including West Germans, Polish (I think), Czechs, etc.

Plus, at that scale, they could be T-64s, or T-80s as well, since they are very similar in overall shape.

yeah, when I bought mine, I thought about getting a bunch of different tanks (and I still might) but in the end, they look similar enough at that scale so I got T72's.

Damn man, those look fantastic, better than my 6mm.

And I'm with you on Team Yankee. As a teenager I had the book and the graphic novel, great stuff.

I look forward to your next playtest. I'm getting closer in terms of getting my stuff together, my bases arrived yesterday.

V/R,
Jack

Pico armor is so nice, the pictures on their website really do not do them justice. Nice job on your miniatures! thumbs up

Very nice! And like the others, I wouldn't sweat the T-72/T-64/T-80 issue; they're so similar in this scale that you'd need a high powered magnifier to tell the difference (I know that's what I've done). The same goes for BMP-1s/BMP-2s as well (a "Bump" is a "Bump"!).

Thanks all for the compliments!

@coastal: I agree, you notice I have labeled the BMP's, just "BMP" for this very reason. plus, I don;lt think at this scale (1 base = 1 company) it would make a huge difference.

@Jack: Get them out there! I really cheap on the painting, here is what I did:
1) Glue them down with white glue
2) Undercoat with a brush, black on the models and the bases
3) Paint the vehicles one color (Russian green or brown violete in this case)
4) Dry brush sand
5) brush on army painter dip (this armors the paint job, giving significant protection to the vehicle)
6) flock the base / glue on label
7) spray with matte sealer to hold on the flock and tone down the gloss on the vehicles.

Easy- peasy. You cann't tell I did npot bother to paint the tracks, as they look muddy, though I did do tires on the wheeled vehicles.

The Americans are on the table, and I am planning a West German Territorial unit.

They look great!

I'm really looking forward to these rules. I gotta see if I can talk Ivan into optional rules for regimental/division trains so we can have something to shoot up once we've gotten our breakthrough.
