Which miniatures ruleset do you prefer for your zombie gaming?

QILS, but it's my go to for lots of genres. Quick play that focuses on tactics vice gimmicks. Easy to balance (or unbalance) a scenario for a variable number of players. Though I have found that Brain Freeze is a lot of fun at parties with non-gamers.

I've got all those mentioned above and others!….but what is QILS?

QILS. It's the first Google return for "QILS" in a "naked" search, but depending on what you search for, YMMV.

ATZ has served me very well for my modern zombie games; I used a modified version of "Mordheim" for my "Romeo & Juliet & Zombies" scenario.

What does ATZ stand for and who makes it for those who aren't in the know?

Red Ops 5 from Rebel Minis and THW. A tighter focused version of ATZ. Clear the Zeds from an apartment complex and rescue civilians. Think of the opening of the original Dawn of the Dead.

Since this is a poll suggestion thread, let me also nominate No More Room in Hell.

I really really don't mean any ill intentions here, but ATZ was the only one that ever made it on our table, and that was due to the strength of the THW system, not the subject matter.

(for what it's worth we did enjoy ATZ a lot though we were pretty much all terrible at playing it and died constantly :) )

Just to add if your intrested in RPGs, Fantasy Flight Games just released a RPG Zombie end of the world rule book.

I myself haven't read it but it's sounding pretty good, You have a chance to play a charater that represents yourself, the other players they mostly vote up or down your characteristic to be as close as they can as to being you strength and weakness.

I'm also looking into trying out Zed or Alive, the Savage Worlds Showdown zombie game, so let's nominate that as well.

Grown fond of Zombicide myself and my lady also likes it.

Definitely Zombicide. Always a fun game and easy to change bits if required. A lot of scenarios as well.
