Does anyone make decals, like those Company B does in 28mm, for 20mm (1/72) scale infantry? Apparently Company B did make them some years back but no longer produces them. I also found a company called Mustang Game Systems who make 15mm infantry decals -- I have heard they are large enough to fit 20mm figures but would be interesting in hearing opinions on them. Thanks in advance for any help or thoughts. |

I have dealt with both sources and yes the Mustang games decals will work. You need to trim as close as possible to the decal because they are printed on white backing. Touch up painting around the decal may be needed. Using a decal softener is also recommended. |

Also use Mustang decals and actually think they would work a bit better in 20mm. Also echo bullant's comment on trimming and perhaps a bit of touch up. That being said some very good decals such as American flag patches for your WW II airborne! |

A long time ago a company called microscale used to sell a lot of plane and armor decals. Mike Adams |

Thanks, gentlemen, for the responses. It sounds like the MGS decals will fit the bill nicely. I appreciate the tips on trimming the decals and the use of microset/microsol. As a very young man in the 1970s I worked at a hobby shop and we carried microscale decals. They had everything in a variety of scales. We kept them in folders in file boxes by type (armor/aircrafts) and by scale (I think they had 1/72, 1/48, and 1/35). They were also high quality. |
