Brian Trotter is running two Squadron Strike demos at Genghis Con link which runs from February 12th to the 15th in Denver, CO. His events will use the ships from the Empire/Directorate War, which are available on the Patreon and are meant to teach the ins and outs of the game. His first event starts at 9 AM on Saturday, his second at 9 AM on Sunday. His Saturday event already has 4 signups, so get in quick!

If you'd like to contact Brian before the event, he can be reached at btrotter@gmail.com

If you're running an event at a con, or are looking to promote an Ad Astra event at a convention, please post on the forums here link – and email me from the link at the bottom of this page. I'll be happy to post up game descriptions and convention announcements here.

Bonus points if you can send us photos and play by plays of your events afterwards!

BTW have you though about doing introductory YouTube videos going through movement, firing etc?

I only ask because I would love to be able to sit in on one of your demonstrations, but not likely that I can get over any time soon to make this a reality.

I second that request! (And yes, I know I've had Squadron Strike for years now…)

The "how to play" vids for Infinity have really made playing the game much more accessible.

Up to now I had been unconvinced about video demos, but after seeing FFGs four part intro to SW:X-Wing I'm sold, but would add terms and conditions: short, pithy and to the point i.e: explain one thing well.
