Noting the lack of new models of Titans for use in EPIC 40K, I was wondering how well would Warmachine's Warjacks do as Titans? There seems to quite a range, and some would do well for a great many factions in the 40K universe. Several seem well suited in a design sense for Imperial, Ork, Eldar, and Chaos, and perhaps for unique alien empires as well. How big are they? Could some serve as "lighter" titans? And besides using them in Epic, how do they scale with Battletech mechs? I have some notions for 6mm army that needs a quasi-40k look and Warjacks look like a good stand in. |

Why not? They have the right look and size, IIRC. |

Yes, this should look fine. The lights would be a little larger than an old Wolfhound, while the Heavies would be larger than a Warlord. The 'Colossal' size are indeed colossal and would work fine for Imperator class titans! -Will |

Someone on Tactical Command was using Cryx as Chaos Titans. EDIT: It was ONYX link |

What a great idea! I'm really fond of Warjacks, but have no interest in the game. Cool models that should be seen outside of Warmachine more often. I painted up 6 of them as "Lesser Obsidian Golems" for my Kings of War army link and I have one more that will be converted into a steam construction or IHMN. |

There are pics out there showing Warjacks as Titans with like Chaos bits attached. |

Same minis, different scale, I would also use them as AdMech constructs in 40k. |

Not enough skullz? |

Lack of skulls is of course one of the best things about them. The Khador jacks I chose looked to me very much like mechanical versions of the 90's Chaos warriors which I used (Battlemasters version) for much of my KoW army. Even the over-the-top Chaos warriors had far fewer skully-bits. Of course if one wants more skulls, any GW player probably has a bag of extra plastic bits with transplantable skull motifs. AdMech is another great idea! |

The original titans had fairly clean looks by 40K standards, so I imagine the jacks would do just great. Heck, back in the 2nd edition (and later NetEpic days), we used 40K terminators as imperial knights. |

Not enough skullz? IMHO … GW/FW 40K stuff just keeps getting more and more over-the-top ! |
