So, here I am, having wargamed most things and in most scales and I got bored! I wanted to do something DIFFERENT.
I like the 40K models but not 40K wargaming, so was in a bit of a quandary, then I had an idea( head rush!!) what about something like 'Rise of the machines' type game? I can use anything machine orientated, and anything suitable for the humans, so the idea was born.
Time frame was set at 20 years hence, machines were to be represented in the main by Necrons, however I am using all kinds of small vehicles like the land raider but with Necron crew, Tau fighting machines etc, get the picture.
For humans I am using some Empress miniature modern British, these figures are simply stunned, honist, took me 30 mins to paint the four,(see pics), more to be ordered. I plan to get some Pig Iron future conflict infantry as well, when pennies permit. I acquired a Dust walker, 'Arnie 1' (I know!) and a second is to be procured, 'Sly 2! (it gets worse!!) also got a Dust Horton, converted it a bit, got the idea off the web, some guy converted one, did a brill job, this is a Lao Altitude Strike Support / Intercept vehicle or LASSI!
