Question to you sir;
If I order the "Grey Panzers" deal, does Barbarossa ship immediately or in april with blitzkrieg?
Great rules, btw. Currently my favorite.

Many thanks.

Ordered on mine. Fingers crossed on the prize draw!

Stormfather04 Feb 2015 10:40 p.m. PST

Preordered mine as well. I love the ruleset, and I think that the books have gotten even better with each release.

When does the PDF mini-rulebook become available?

King Monkey05 Feb 2015 12:10 a.m. PST

Looks good, wonder if we will see some plastic French and early war British vehicles and tanks from PSC?

PiersBrand05 Feb 2015 4:53 a.m. PST

PDF books are ready to go, just working on the means of download.

Might be a PSC Cruiser in the works as I did the design team a load of pics at Bovvy last year.

Over a 100 pre-orders already… Cheers chaps!

Last edits done, a weekend to check over it again, and then off to the printers next week!

I game in 28mm. What size of table will I need to play the scenarios in the book at that scale? Thanks.

PiersBrand13 Feb 2015 9:45 a.m. PST

For the smaller ones, you could probably get away with a 6 x 4 as I know most of players who use 28mm dont change the measurements.

Personally, though I would likely go with a 7 x 5 if you have one, especially for the larger games with more than a platoon in use.

VonTed26 Feb 2015 7:36 p.m. PST

Can you buy this book and game with it…. our do I need another rule book as well?

Mooseheadd26 Feb 2015 11:15 p.m. PST

Von-Ted you will need the entire encyclopedia set to play the game.

Seriously now. This is a supplement. You will need the book BattleGroup Kursk, or the mini-rulebook for the main rule set. Then you can add as many supplement books as you'd like. Such as the one in this thread BattleGroup Blitzkrieg.

PiersBrand27 Feb 2015 7:25 a.m. PST

Yes…

You need the mini rulebook with the core rules and whatever supplement you want.

If you pre-order Blitzkrieg you get the rules free…

VonTed27 Feb 2015 7:44 a.m. PST

Thanks for the info!

blacksmith27 Feb 2015 10:37 a.m. PST

Sorry for the off topic but I'm interested in Battlegroup Kursk in pdf. Do you know when it will be available?
TIA

PiersBrand27 Feb 2015 5:40 p.m. PST

As soon as PSC sorts its webshop out to sell PDFs…

PDFs are already to go from us… just waiting on PSC and its logistics!

Once I know more, I will post it up, but thats all I have for now. :(

blacksmith28 Feb 2015 4:28 a.m. PST

It seems to me it's going to take time :(
Thank you for the info PiersBrand.

mwindsorfw04 Mar 2015 12:51 p.m. PST

Even after looking at the website, I'm stupidly confused. Is Kursk the original and the others add-ons? If not, which ones are stand-alone?

The Young Guard04 Mar 2015 1:07 p.m. PST

None. Kursk is the original and had the rules in it. You can buy the rules on their own but all other books need the rules to play.

christot04 Mar 2015 1:20 p.m. PST

Ok….slightly off-topic….

Got any plans for battlegroup desert?

PiersBrand04 Mar 2015 1:28 p.m. PST

Desert is underway…

PiersBrand04 Mar 2015 1:31 p.m. PST

Mwindsorfw,

You buy the mini rulebook and then which ever period of the war interests you. Kursk did also have the main rules but it's sold out at the moment.

With Blitzkrieg you get a free PDF rulebook.

Doc Yuengling27 Apr 2015 8:12 a.m. PST

Got my preorder last week for Barbarossa and Blitzkrieg!

Now I actually have to paint more tanks. (It's not like I actually needed a bloody reason….) I got Polish, French, Early War British, Early War Germans, and Russians infantry ready to go!

I look forward to more books, to cover the whole war.

Desert would be good. How about the Pacific, China, Burma, etc.? I have lots of painted terrain, and figures waiting for that too.

PiersBrand27 Apr 2015 11:24 a.m. PST

Desert next, and yes, far east will be done.

Jacques13 May 2015 10:21 a.m. PST

Has the mini PDF rulebook been sent out yet ?

Von Miligan15 May 2015 1:30 p.m. PST

Fantastic to have such a good focus on the much overlooked Early war Period. Thanks to Warick and co for doing these rules, well photographed and focusing so well on the Early WW2 period. Business and demand at Early war miniatures has been great so big thumbs up.
Looking forward to the early war Desert and Far East books when they come out as well. I hope you will give those periods the same crisp treatment.

Good work chaps,
