It's stunning! Can we do rounded vtols rather than those boxy ones as a kickstarter option?

I have been drooling over the work in progress of this dropship. It looks great!

Anybody have an idea what scale it is?

I like it.

15mm scale, I believe.

Damn it, I have looked all over I can not find a like button anywhere. If I did find a like button, I would have clicked it 100 times.

Dwartist didn't paint this version. This was done by Jimbo, the owner and artist of ACP Games, running this Kickstarter.

The only thing I don't like on this Dropship is the struts for the Thrusters, as they look like an after thought addition & out of style with rest of Dropship.

For front thrust would look better placed on where the upper & hull meet (on short wing) & the rear one near the tails on short wing.

Other than this a very nice design & would buy one if had the funds.

Out of my (currently restricted due to Insurance company "surprises" and multiple years with no raises for inflation, followed by 1% this year whoopie!) hobby budget but quite a nice design.

I agree with MMG on this one, its a very good looking dropper/ lander but the rotary thrusters on those winglets do look a bit like they were an after thought…

If they are separate pieces, I'll just leave them off and make it a grav vehicle.

If it's a kickstarter then fund a 28mm version later in the campaign…. or else I'll cry.

This is big enough that a standard 28 can come down the ramp. So why make it more expensive with another model? Keep it simple and easy so backers from many differing g scales can join in. Hope you like it, or at least back it. Please share info with your other game\model friends.

Looking at the other thread, it is big enough for 28mm, so I'm in for the KS.

Is there any way for you to modify your initial "header" for the kickstarter to include "15mm", "model" or "miniature"? Right now, almost the only way for someone to find this through the KS search function is the words: Vanir, Drop and Ship.

After crunching the numbers we realized we wouldn't be able to offer free shipping in the US. Basically we would lose money.

Makes sense, isn't a blocker for me, but you've got it right in the KS page and it may cause some confusion.

I don't think so, gundog, the pledge text reads 'Three Vanir Dropship plus one of each unlocked stretch goal'. Use one as more of an escort and the other two as dedicated dropships maybe?

gundog, check and read our updates, we have that covered already, but no, you get one set of each unlocked stretch goals.

Not really planning on extra missile pods ,but I guess you could mount some guardian tank missiles to it….
