Your painting is wonderful but I fear that my vision of the legion is a bit more disciplined. It would seem to me that at a command the pilum would either be thrown en mass by the legionnaires or dropped upon command to fight with the gladius. Just my opinion but I find the undisciplined look of your unit to be disconcerting.

I like the way they are painted and I like the variety of poses. It makes them look very dynamic and almost like they are taunting, or counter-taunting, their enemies.
