As my Young Guard is now older than some of my Old Guard I guess I do now have old young guard as well!

You could put them on the left of the line. That would be right. Trouble is the Young Guard would still be left, so they'd have to go on the right. Right?

Mrs Deadhead and I were out to lunch yesterday. No reservation and Maitre d' warned us they had a large ladies lunch to cater for, but he would see what he could do. Howls of laughter from us, anticipating some formidable Yorkshire women. Stony silence from him………

I like those, but you have done your limber harnesses in black which makes me wonder if I got mine right when I did in a tan/ochre. Or did they use both colours at different times?

Tan/ochre,strictly speaking, is right. "Buff" officially, but in French! Let's face it Buff can mean anything brownish…..natural undyed leather
