Sobieski please look at the Osaka winter battle screen, there are a number of horse armours, this is a light lacured leather horse armour, with a horse mask and I have two japanese book that testament they we in use throughout the sengoku period, so this is enough evidence for me to sculpt what I feel is an interesting figure. I do realise some Western books say they were not not in use until the edo period, but I would prefer to listen to the japanese books.
