The set is heavily influenced by the LotR films, which means some of the figs are "one use" but there is some scope (though not a lot ) for conversions

A very nice set of figures but you are quite right about some of the poses, not a lot of uses.

Great ideas for modifying the duplicates of the personality figures. Thank you for sharing.

The figures pouring the metal and those carrying the bombs could be separated and posed to carry a battering ram or serve as crew members for war machines like a ballista or catapult.

They have a fine level of detail in spite of beign quite cheap.
I recall that in the helm's deep scenario of GW rules you had to have like three uruk hai demolition teams, so you could use 3 of the 4 pairs of bomb carriers.

Nice little figures, but I am not planning on buying another box.

What I would like to see if the second set of elves – mine has set 1 on the front, and set 2 on the back, so maybe there was a plan originally for armoured elves.

And Paul – your blog consistently fails to load (at work – I cannot even try at home) – not sure what is unique about your blog (technically that is, the figures you do are unique in terms of quality and output grin)
