Excellent paint job, weathering, and rust effects.

Is it my eyes, or do the rivets seem to be a bit oversized?

PSC vehicles tend to sometimes have some of the finer details a bit oversized.

PiersBrand31 Jan 2015 12:13 p.m. PST

Its 15mm… any smaller you wont see the rivets!

Louie N31 Jan 2015 12:37 p.m. PST

Great work on a classic AFV.

If you think PSC rivets are over sized you must have never looked at a battlefront model with rivets.

tuscaloosa31 Jan 2015 2:10 p.m. PST

Agree with Mike, the rivets are a bit overdone. Looks like the tank has a bad case of acne.

But GHQ puts rivets and similar details on 6mm, so I suppose it's what the people want.

Hornswoggler31 Jan 2015 5:30 p.m. PST

Rivets definitely over sized.

PSC US and Allied halftrack kits both have highly exaggerated (and incorrect) rivet and panel line details.

pigasuspig31 Jan 2015 5:35 p.m. PST

Well yeah, but it's 15mm. If I wanted exactness, I'd buy Dragon 1/35.

I just want to see the rivets on a famously riveting tank.

Now you've mentioned it I can totally see the Pinhead thing in the first two pictures, but I think they look fine in the last picture – which is far closer to the angle you'll be looking at them from when they're on the tabletop.

It looks Great!

perhaps people should see an actual physical model first before passing judgement on the rivets…..bit radical, bit left field, i know.
the one sitting on my desk looks fine
the reason we made a big thing of the rivets was a lot of people told us they didnt like the Zvezda version because it had a distinct lack of rivets and could we do one with rivets

Always tricky judging things from a greatly enlarged picture ( that image must be at least x10+) I know people will say Im talking do doos but big pics do over emphasise some things on a model ,looks the biz to me :)

Yes… Given the model is just a few centimeters long, a pic that size doesnt really show the effect correctly I guess.

Should have put a penny next to it to show how tiny it is! ;)

Personally, I think it works well on the tabletop, and looks like a 38t. Not sure what else you can ask for from a 15mm plastic kit. :)

And easy fix if one does think the rivets are a bit too prominent. A light sanding will fix that.

Gottmituns20512 Feb 2015 8:29 a.m. PST

I actually quite like the rivets. Easier for a wash to take hold to them.

wizbangs18 Feb 2015 7:47 p.m. PST

I think the zoom over emphasizes the rivets, I have a platoon of these tanks and never thought they were out of reasonable proportion,,
