Interesting article on the anniversary of the raid to free POW's in the Philippines in 1945. Also a great movie of the event link

I read the book. A great accomplishment. One of the rare exceptions where we successfully saved men.

Liked the movie, prefered Johnson's "Hour of Redemption" to "Ghost Soldiers" , Just a matter of taste, likely because I read it first
