[/URL] We had a small action in my classroom after school today. Eight students and two teachers participated, and it was led by one of the students! For an account and more pictures, please visit my blog: winserswargames.blogspot.com |

After school is a good way to bring new gamers into the fold. "History Club" or some moniker like that |

I ran a history club for four years at my local high school. As far as I know it generated four wargamers long term, one of which is a hard core historical gamer. |

Yes, in the history club one or two kids per year will probably become instant gamers and remain a life gamer. However I've met a few who have come back into gaming (and/or model railroads) when they are full adults and have kids of their own. Once the teenage distractions(cars, sports, raging hormones, college, and more)go away, a few new adult gamers return to gaming as they recall the fun they had from their high school days. I guess for some gamers all they needed to do was to grow up a little bit more… Mike |

Were the teachers already gamers or not? |
