The last of a trio of Normandy FoW scenario games or mini-campaign. Started with Barkmann's corner, then the String of Pearls scenario. The last scenario, "Roncey Pocket" was played at the recent HMGS-PSW January WWII convention.

I'm so used to 6 foot tables, that 4 x 8 looks HUGE! It's hard to believe those are 20mm figures compared to the size of the table.

Thanks VonBurge and Wizbangs.

Yep, they are 20mm or 1/72. Been playing FoW since 2004 but never went into the classic scale of 15mm for FoW. Just had too much invested in 20mm/1/72nd scale… Also the plastic miniatures just started to come out by HaT and others sealed the thought process. Cheap…. Cheap. I used the Fow gaming to have my to sons just in. One noe also plays napoleonic's too. (must be eying Dad's huge 25/28mm collection (21k+ painted miniatures).

One thing I enjoy about 20mm… you can see the miniatures across the tabletop without glasses.

So, just became a thought process how to adjust FoW to 20mm. In the end just enlarging the infantry team basing and the scenario boards wider by 25% basically. Left the movement, FP ranges etc all the same.
Another plus… the larger terrain can be used with the napoleonic and ancient gaming.
