I have a question for someone who has attended this convention in the past. I haven't but it looks fun and I am thinking about going this year. I see that the cost per day is $25.00 USD. Could anyone tell me

1) Is there a cheaper price for kids? Or do they also pay $25.00 USD?

2) Is there a flea market? Couldn't tell from their site.

Thanks

@Inkpaduta –

AdeptiCon has "Bitz Trading" sessions Friday and Saturday evenings. These sessions are designed to be after the main events, and vendor hall is closed. Scheduled 10pm – Midnight. Basically this a big swap meet and spans 30 tables or so of space.

Badges are only required for people that are participating in the show, aka signing up for tournaments or events etc.. For everything else we just ask that people get a spectator badge which is free. Specifically for children under 12, we just ask that they be supervised by an adult.

Thanks Hankedley, I appreciate that.
Now I can bring my kids too!

Regarding the Bitz Trading. Does one just walk up and grab a table, or does one have to sign up somewhere?

Thanks for the help.

Bitz Trading has been open tables in the past with no need to sign up.

Last year was the first time we went to Adepti Con. The place was packed wall to wall with gamers and vendors. Hank Edly (Con Director) has posted since then they moved to a bigger location. So we are looking forward to going back this year.

How big is Adepticon, compared to Historicon or Origins or another convention?

markmors03 Feb 2015 12:52 p.m. PST

Their website said last year's attendance was over 2000.

@Rwphillipsstl – We just posted this bit of tracking for this year ..

AdeptiCon 2015 will be, without question, the largest AdeptiCon to date. With 3 weeks to go, preregistration numbers are already 15% over the close of cart last year – putting us on track for 2500+ attendees! More space, more vendors, more events…March cannot come quickly enough!
