…not inevitable.

"The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah has launched its most severe attack on Israeli forces since 2006, when a cross-border incident set off a summer war. Wednesday's strike drew Israeli retaliation, but analysts suggested both sides were aiming for restraint.

Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon targeted an Israeli convoy in a heavily militarized border region northwest of the Golan Heights with six anti-tank missiles, killing two soldiers, wounding another seven, and destroying at least two vehicles.

I don't see what advantage this cluster-flock gives Netanyahu. The Israelis have given dubious and contradictory statements about why they hit the Hezbollah convoy. It could be they made a mistake. That happens sometimes.

Hezbollah says their honor is satisfied. The Iranians say they still want one of Netanyahu's children. I don't think this is over.

Everyone can say what they want, what they do is another matter.

The majority of Arabs will continue to chant "Death to Isreal", yet what Arab govt. has the guts to start another real war?

Iran will always continue to look for soft targets to strike globally, it's what they do. But for now, Hezbollah and Syria are busy elsewhere.

I do believe that when the Syrian conflict is over, Hezbollah members will be returning to Lebanon with real combat experience. This will notch-up the next conflict with Isreal in multiples.
