Pic of the halfway completed Old Mexican style church, built for Murphy's "Treasure of Chili Verde" convention game.

Some pics of the work before finishing and detailing. (Marley took the finished pics on her phone, so we have to wait to see the final product). Already en route to one Michael T Murphy!

I like it!

Allow me to correct a little the spanish name;

Instead of "El Iglesia Del Jesus Cristo Del Chili Verde"

Quote: "La Iglesia de Jesus del Chili Verde"

Sorry, Cacique. My bad. Didn't mean to blaspheme.

Me Espanol is a bit rusty

Thanks guys.

So, my Mom emails tons of pics of Mexican churches for inspiration (after I already built the thing)

LOL! She thought it would be no problem for me to build a scale Basilica in Mexico City!

I had to explain to her this was for a Murphy game, NOT for Smithsonean :)

So, winner of the game gets first dibs on the Mexican food?

Blaspheme? Lol.

If we have really been made in HIS image, believe me, he has an awesome sense of humor. Have you ever seen a platypus?

Dan
PS. Hey, if we follow the usual church-naming pattern of buildings, like "Iglesia de Nuestra Seņora de XX (some virtue or place name)", then I think I already won that Mexican dinner!
