Hi all, I'm looking for suitable figures for the above and haven't had much success locating one for purchase. My "Sniper Rifles" book shows Mosins being used in the conflict with PEM x4 scopes and ideally I would like a fig with a scoped rifle. Any suggestions people ? Sadly sculpting one on an existing fig is a no go, I'm not bad at painting, sculpting no. A while back I think I did see some early war sniper teams in the Warlord range which warranted a closer look but can't find them now. Regards, Ken yarkshiregamer.blogspot.co.uk |

Yarkshire, Are you thinking of the Soviet Scout Squad pack by Warlord (WGB-RI-36). That has a sniper with presumably a mosin rifle? However, its £10.00 GBP for the pack. Have you thought of the alternate route of finding an unusual figure with a rifle. After all the majority of 'sniping' was by the rank and file or even someone just grabbing a rifle. I'm thinking of the Priest in Ken Loach's Land & Freedom. Cheers |

Artizan miniatures sell Eric Blair, better known under a nom de plume. Blair/Orwell was actually an excellent shot. Ironically, he ended up sniped, and was invalided home. link |

link Cheers for the links and ideas, I hadn't seen those before. The above is the link I was thinking of, Just for game recognition I'm looking for a scoped rifle, we currently use a couple of sly looking partizan figs for the snipers (Rifles with no scopes) and they have just been recruited into the International Brigades.
