For the 5th year, Colonial Barracks will again be in New Orleans on Nov. 5 – 8, 2015. This convention began as a convention dedicated to all things TSATF. It has evolved into an annual gathering of some of the premier colonial gaming in our hobby as well as including many of the other wargame rules designed by Larry Brom. This year's theme is "Afghans & Zulus & Brits, Oh My! Colonial Campaigns of 1878 – 1880". The many forays along the Northwest Frontier and the Anglo-Zulu War are particular favorites among TSATF gamers. And we know there will be many grand cinematic battles taking place over the weekend so gamers and GM's alike, please make your plans now to join us. Hotel reservations will be open in the next few weeks. |

Maybe its time to dust off my terrain and take another foray into the Vale of Khalaam in the North Central Frontier. It has only been six years since the forces of the Raj have visited there. Surely the Habbabiera tribe needs another lesson in Martini-Henry diplomacy. link Jim |

Jim, If you dust it off and bring it they will play it! After being AWOL from Colonial Barracks for the past three years I'm really hoping to bring my 1879 Battle of Charasiab game to New Orleans this year, which I imagine will count as a "Theme" game, since it's set during the Second Afghan War. |

Sounds great! I'd love to run a NWF game a CB-V. I just need to figure out a way to get my terrain and figs on the plane…..lol Running games or playing, either way I'll be there this year. Cheers, JB |
