First Command Wargames, publisher of 'For Queen and Planet – The Imperial Wars of Earth and Mars – 1845 – 1930', releases its second supplement for the rule set.

The Boxer Rebellion – 1900 is a Colonial and Victorian Science Fiction supplement for the Core Rules.

Set in 1900 in Imperial China, this supplement presents eight scenarios to allow you to play a wide variety of encounters between the forces of the Eight Nation Allies and a variety of Chinese forces.

The scenarios include battles from the Seymour Expedition, battles between the Qing and the Boxer and from the Gaslee Expedition. In addition, a pure VSF scenario that has been a huge success as a convention game.

You can purchase this supplement and the required core rules on Wargames Vault at:

or the First Command Wargames website:

Should point out the 'no extra charge' Rise of the Madhi quick ref sheet for those of us who've bought the core set, but haven't played yet.

What is the VSF scenario? Can't tell from the OneBookshelf In. blurb.

The VSF Scenario was:

"In Pursuit of Foreign Devils" and you can see one of our AAR's from the most recent Siege of Augusta here:

In addition, we have included the QRS in the supplemental rules this time (so 52 pages)! Live and learn. There are a few minor differences (such as Red Lanterns) from the Rise of the Mahdi QRS.

Ah, yes, now that you mention it, 'Eight Nation vs. Qing/Boxer/CEPHALOPOD.'

Was obvious, wasn't it? *blush*
