And for Gryphons for them to ride. So I saw a new "Bannon and Clare" novel from Lilith Saint Crow ( link ), so I had to go back and re-read the whole series. In the second book, as they were talking about the Gryphons that pulled Brittania's chariot, they also mentioned Gryphon-riding cavalry used during the battles with Napoleon. So, I'm looking for Napoleonic cavalry that I could mount on Gryphons, in 15mm/18mm. Suggestions? |

Best are always Tony Barton, though the new Blue Moon 18mm naps might work too. |

All the AB 18mm Napoleonic cavalry are available without horses. Let us know when you order that you only want riders. Nic Eureka Miniatures |

I have both Blue Moon and AB cavalry. Both are seperate riders and horses. As for Gryphons, maybe Splintered Light? link Or Lone Gunman Games? link I know the Lone Gunman version will seat an 18mm rider on the neck. My daughter has an Amazon general mounted this way. Glad to see another Bannon and Clare fan here. |

Great, thank you! I'm likely to get the ABs, just because that's what the rest of my current Napoleonics are. Are there any other recommendations for either riders or mounts? Since the books don't mention it, what would be a good mythical cavalry mount for the French? Gryphons are out, they have an ancient pact with Brittania (the spirit of rule, national spirit of Great Britain). Dragons are also out, they do really weird things to time (and space) itself. Not to mention are … prickly creatures at the best of times. I'm drawing a blank for a mythical creature associated with France, but I am not a ravenous student of French History, either. So what does the TMP hive-mind suggest? |

Unicorns? Or, after the Egyptian campaign, sphinxes? |
