Looking at an OOB for Panzer Korps, requires 120mm and 150mm mortars for the Chinese. Russians have a 120mm mortar model from Heroics and Ros, but I can't find a 150mm mortar or equivalent anywhere. Are there any models for this weapon?

I can't say a 150mm mortar is a weapon I'd even heard of before, personally I'd just use a 120 instead. However Scotia do a range of generic weapons including mortars.

It's this man-sized weapon the Japanese cooked up (90 produced). If I really want to model the weapon on the table, I could use a 15mm model of a 81mm mortar since it's probably man-sized for a 6mm soldier.

Adler do some nice mortars as well. I think they also do a 120mm mortar.

Just the odd scenario in Panzer Korps requires really rare weapons in the OOB. There's a 77mm gun in one OOB I'm sure I couldn't find if I tried. Gotta do conversion of other equipment.

At that level of game does it even matter what specific weapons are on the stand? For operational games I use all sorts of junk, as long as it is obvious what the broad weapon category is (heavy artillery, leg infantry or whatever).

A 77mm gun is probably just an old Krupps WW1 field gun, but I'd have thought any old 75mm is calibre field gun with spoked wheels would do.

For bizarre (WW1) mortars I scratchbuilt them out of sprue, balsa etc.

You're probably right. Sticking with late war Western front is the answer if I want to get all the equipment "right".

At this higher level each battle seems to be a project of it's own. Probably to be replayed by switching sides afterwards. A battle might take hours anyway.
