I am in the US is sites like RPGNOW and WargamesVault handling the VAT taxes on the doc files sent to the EU and the UK?

Or do we need to do all the BS filing ourselves?

Working on a PDF product now, so kinda need to know in advance.

If you are in the USA, I doubt you need to comply with EU and UK laws.

It's hard enough to comply with the voluminous pages of tax law in our own country.

The honest answer is "neither" – if you're selling through a third party site it's their problem not yours. It's a problem they tend to simply treat as not existing and not bother complying with, but it's them that's failing to comply rather than you….

(It's also not new in this case – the requirement's been in place for a good few years for non-EU firms making electronic sales to EU customers – the fact that most people remain blissfully unaware of that fact tells you all you need to know about compliance and enforcement….)
