Here are two Hammer's Slammers: The Crucible battle reports. One was an eight-hander at the Maidstone club using eight detachments and taking about five hours.
This had five people involved who had never played using the system before. It involved a run down a long table to gain access to some hydroponic farms.
The second was two days later with a very similar game with the same objective. This was a four-hander that I didn't take part in but just umpired and facilitated. As all the players were familiar with the rules we had seven detachments and only two hours after set up) on an 8x6 but there was a degree of 'oooh can I just see you?, are you obscured' type judgement calls that I had to pull my laser pointer out for, adjudication for the use of!
Both were fun games and saw some new forces out on the tables: Tony Francis' Sulwesi (and his fearsome Heavy TAS) and – on the other game – Jim Clark's Hiroseki national Army.
Have a look at the page on TMP of the Sulwesi that's already up TMP link
Meanwhile, have a look at the pages on the Slammers site of full game reports:
Hammering Maidstone link with a mix of mine and Tony's pictures
Warlords Club Game link with my pics.
Enjoy!

PS Some of Jim Clark's Bushmaster detachment that just did a spin on the table at the end of the game so I could shoot them!
